Glasgow Rangers are looking to bring Steven Caulker to Ibrox, but they face plenty of competition for his signature.

The Mirror reports that both Rangers and Leeds have been weighing up potential £1.5 million moves for the one-time England international, who appears to be successfully rebuilding his career in the Scottish Premiership with Dundee.
However, it appears that he may be on the move in the near future – but Steven Gerrard’s men and the Championship outfit will apparently have to step up their efforts if they hope to land the centre-back.

It will be interesting to see whether Leeds or Rangers decide to step up their interest in light of Trabzonspor’s apparent move for Caulker. For Leeds, time is running out if they want to get a permanent deal done with their deadline coming up this afternoon.
The situation is less urgent for the Gers. They have until the end of the month to complete their business regardless of whether it is a permanent or loan move, so perhaps they may be much happier to bide their time and wait for their rivals to play their hands before they decide their next move.
