According to Sky Sports, Turkish club Trabzonspor are interested in signing Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
Rose has been left out of Tottenham’s Premier League squad and is out of contract at the North London club at the end of the season.
The Athletic reported in December 2020 that Spurs are ready to offload the 30-year-old left-back – who earns £60,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac – in January.
Leaving Tottenham Hotspur
Rose spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle United after failing to play regularly under Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho.
It is clear that Mourinho does not rate the former Leeds United prospect, and it would make sense for the Englishman to find a new club in the January transfer window and play regular first-team football.
West Bromwich Albion are also reported to be interested in securing the services of Rose this month.
Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol told the Transfer Show (05/01/21 at 7:50 pm) that West Brom are looking at Tottenham defender Rose, as covered by HITC Sport.
