Could Tottenham Hotspur lose Mousa Dembele in the summer transfer window?

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele is interested in trying a new domestic league, according to The Independent.

It has also been reported that there is likely to be interest from China and Italy for the Belgium international midfielder in the summer transfer window.

According to The Mirror, Spurs would be prepared to sell the 30-year-old midfielder, who has been on the books of the North London outfit since the summer of 2012 when he joined from Fulham for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £15 million.

Good for Tottenham Hotspur?

Dembele is one of the best players in the current Tottenham team who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to The Daily Star.

The 30-year-old has made 20 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season.

There is no doubt that the Belgian can still be a huge success in the English top flight, but there have been injury concerns over him for a while now.

If Tottenham are able to get a good transfer fee – maybe around £25m or £30m – and then invest that in signing a suitable and younger replacement, then it would not be a bad deal for the North London outfit.
