Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker has reportedly held talks with manager Mauricio Pochettino over his future with the club.

According to the London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur full back Kyle Walker has held talks with manager Mauricio Pochettino about his future with the club.
Walker, 26, joined Spurs from hometown club Sheffield United way back in 2009, and after loan spells with the Blades, Queens Park Rangers and Aston Villa, the right back established himself in the Tottenham first team.
Whilst he was often considered to be an athletic defender with great attacking ability but questionable defensive play, Walker has developed into arguably the Premier League’s top all-round right back under Mauricio Pochettino.
Walker has managed to keep out Kieran Trippier as Tottenham’s chief right back for the last two years, and his exploits saw him pen a new £70,000-a-week contract with the club back in September.
However, the London Evening Standard now report that three clubs – Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich – are all interested in signing Walker, and the England international has subsequently held talks with Mauricio Pochettino over his future.

It’s claimed that whilst Walker is happy at White Hart Lane, having signed his new deal just a matter of months ago, he is aware of mounting interest in his signature, and the prospect of a greater pay packet elsewhere.
Tottenham won’t want to sell such an important player, and have put themselves in a strong position to keep hold of or charge a huge price for him given that his contract runs until 2021.
Factor in that chairman Daniel Levy is a notoriously difficult negotiator, and Walker may find it difficult to leave Tottenham, but with Pochettino taking the club from strength to strength, he may be better off staying with Spurs anyway.
