Tottenham Hotspur pair Kyle Walker and Danny Rose are both being lined up by Manchester United.
A report in The Sun has suggested that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho wants the club to sanction a £60 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur pair Kyle Walker and Danny Rose in the summer.
The Sun reports that Manchester City have been keeping a close eye on the full-backs as Pep Guardiola continues to implement his philosophy into the club’s style of play. However, Mourinho is hoping to scupper his rival’s transfer plans with a move of his own.

But neither player will come cheap as The Sun reports that there is no release clause in either player’s five-year contract which were both signed earlier this season.
And The Sun adds that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is extremely unlikely to give the moves the green light. Therefore, it may perhaps take an even more audacious offer for Spurs to even consider selling the duo.
It is clear to see why Tottenham would surely do everything they could to keep Walker and Rose if United came calling. Their energy has been vital to the progress that the club have made since Mauricio Pochettino arrived at White Hart Lane, and while Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies would walk into many Premier League sides, there is no doubt that losing Walker and Rose would be a massive blow.

And while United may tick many boxes for some players, the England internationals would be forgiven for looking at an Old Trafford switch as a sideways step at best at this particular moment.
They should be enjoying some of the best years of their career over the next few seasons, and moving away from a promising Tottenham side may ultimately harm their chances of being important players in a trophy-winning team as they may need time to adapt to their new surroundings.
