Monaco are reportedly set to sign Tottenham winger Youri Tielemans.

According to L’Equipe, Monaco are set to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou on loan, bringing him back to France.
Spurs raided Marseille to sign Nkoudou in a protracted deal back in 2016, and fans had some excitement about him after nine goals and five assists in the 2015-16 campaign.
However, the 23-year-old has barely featured for Spurs, and has failed to start a single Premier League game for the club in two-and-a-half years at the club.
Nkoudou did show signs of life earlier this month with a superb assist in the win over Fulham, but he struggled against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Now, his time at Spurs appears to be coming to an end, with L’Equipe reporting that Monaco are nearing a deal to take Nkoudou on loan until the end of the season.
Spurs would no doubt be open to letting Nkoudou go permanently at the end of the season, but it remains to be seen whether such a clause exists in the deal.

The rumour is intriguing given that, just yesterday, The Telegraph reported that Spurs are keen on Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans in a potential loan-to-buy deal.
A swap deal would have been perfect, offloading Nkoudou whilst landing a promising young midfielder, strengthening Mauricio Pochettino’s squad in a real problem area for Spurs.
Yet with Leicester close to signing Tielemans in a loan exchange for Adrien Silva according to the Daily Mail, Spurs won’t be securing that ideal swap – but their talks with Monaco about offloading Nkoudou appear to have been successful.
