According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur left back Danny Rose will undergo a late test to determine his fitness for this afternoon’s clash against Bournemouth.
Spurs return to Premier League action at 12:30pm today as they travel to the Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth, just days after drawing 0-0 away at Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

Whilst manager Mauricio Pochettino will have been happy with a point in Germany, he won’t be pleased to have seen Danny Rose pick up another injury.
The England international, 26, has played just half of Tottenham’s Premier League games having missed out through a hamstring injury earlier this season – and he appears to have another knock.

The London Evening Standard reported shortly after the final whistle against Leverkusen that Rose was seen leaving the stadium in a protective boot having injured his foot at the BayArena.
Now, The Mirror report that Rose will face a late fitness test this morning to determine whether he is fit enough to participate against Bournemouth this afternoon.

Given how Rose played in both England games over the international break and has a knock again, it may be better to leave him out of the side even if he passes that fitness test, just to give him some time to recover fully.
After all, it’s not as if Tottenham are short of cover. Welsh international Ben Davies has been a steady deputy for Rose this season, and Pochettino would surely have no qualms throwing him in against Bournemouth should Rose fail to recover in time.
