Real Madrid reportedly infuriated the Tottenham Hotspur chairman back in October.

AS in Spain have reported that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy was sent into a ‘rage’ by Real Madrid when it emerged that they reportedly wanted Christian Eriksen.
The Bernabeu club are eyeing a long-term replacement for 33-year-old Luka Modric and The Independent have reported that they want Eriksen, whose contract expires in 18 months.
The reports surrounding the Spurs man’s future have only emerged again in recent weeks.
But AS claims that Levy has known about Real’s reported interest since October, when he heard about the Spanish giants wanting to sign one his prized assets, prompting a furious reaction.
That report adds that Levy feels ‘very threatened’ by Real, whom have also been linked to their manager Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham’s best player Harry Kane [AS].
It looks like the Spurs midfielder to Real might be one of this summer’s transfer sagas, and Levy can either tie down the Dane to a new deal or succumb to the inevitable, if an extension cannot be agreed.
The 26-year-old has been magnificent for the North Londoners again this season, netting six goals in all competitions – including last-minute winners against Burnley and Inter Milan.
