Daniel Levy is still a fan of Graham Potter’s work as Tottenham Hotspur consider their managerial options after Antonio Conte’s exit.
Tottenham parted ways with Conte towards the end of March with his position seen as pretty much untenable.
Spurs have decided to go with Cristian Stellini as their new boss until the end of the season, but Levy and co will be eyeing up options.
TalkSPORT now claim that Levy is still an admirer of Graham Potter’s work despite his sacking from Chelsea.
It’s stated that Tottenham did have a real interest in luring Potter away from Brighton and Hove Albion in 2021.
Spurs ended up going for Nuno Espirito Santo but it’s suggested that Levy still likes Potter.
That’s a very interesting suggestion given that Potter just became available having bene axed by Chelsea on Sunday.
Tottenham may end up considering Potter for their managerial post, even if other targets will likely be ahead of him in the pecking order.

Graham Potter shouldn’t have his reputation ruined by Chelsea exit
If Conte had left Tottenham at the end of last season and Spurs went for Potter, many would have probably backed the move.
Potter was shining as Brighton boss and had earned a reputation as the top emerging English manager around.
Now though, Potter is seen as somewhat tarnished having been sacked after just seven months in the job.
Potter’s move to Chelsea just didn’t seem to really make sense.
For as much as Todd Boehly can claim he wants patience, the fanbase is used to winning trophies.
Add in a raft of expensive signings and Chelsea expectation levels were still incredibly high.
Potter just wasn’t really suited to that role and Spurs would be wise to think back to the work Potter was doing at Brighton.
Potter may not be the top choice for Tottenham but Levy and co seem to at least have some level of interest in allowing him to rebuild his reputation.
