Newcastle United could have a chance of signing Tottenham Hotspur’s Danny Rose this summer for just £5 million, according to the Shields Gazette.
Newcastle have brought Rose in on loan for the rest of the season, and he has made a solid start to life at St. James’ Park.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho seems to feel that the left-back has no future in North London.
And it seems that Spurs could be willing to accept a cut-price fee now, to get Rose off their books.
It was only 18 months ago that Spurs were looking to bring in £50 million for Rose, according to the Daily Mirror.
But his price-tag has rapidly fallen, and Newcastle may now look to bring him in on a permanent deal.

Rose has been Newcastle’s starting left-back since his arrival in January, but whether Mike Ashley will finance a deal, even at a cut price, with so much uncertainty over his future remains to be seen.
If Rose does leave Spurs, then Mourinho will surely want to bring in another left-back, as he has limited options in the position currently.
