Tottenham and Everton are among five Premier League sides that are interested in the youngster.
A report in the Daily Record has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are among five Premier League sides that are closely monitoring the progress of Hamilton Academical starlet Ronan Hughes.
The 17-year-old has made just three Scottish Premiership appearances for the Accies – becoming the club’s youngest player in the top flight in the process – but is already attracting plenty of attention from England.

The Record reports that as well as Tottenham and the Toffees; West Ham, Manchester United and Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the young midfielder and are weighing up whether to make a move.
If the quintet do all confirm their interest with bids, then Hughes will definitely have a difficult decision to make as he tries to decide which team will give him the best chance of realising his potential.

Tottenham, Everton and West Ham have shown plenty of faith in youngsters in recent seasons, so it may not be too long before he is pushing for the odd first-team chance with any of those three.
Meanwhile, although United and Arsenal have shown a willingness to turn to youth in previous years, it is perhaps much more of a gamble to join either as, while some manage to make a name for themselves at Old Trafford or the Emirates, others can watch their careers stagnate before they somewhat disappear into obscurity.
