Tottenham Hotspur have taken the chance to scout Moussa Dembele.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur scouted Lyon striker Moussa Dembele whilst also looking at teammate Memphis Depay.
Spurs may be looking for some attacking reinforcements with Harry Kane not at his best this season, and another striker may be vital after letting Fernando Llorente leave last summer.
It’s now believed that Spurs have been looking at Lyon attacker Depay, but also took a recent chance to scout teammate Dembele alongside him.
Spurs allegedly watched Lyon’s two Champions League games against Benfica, scouting Depay and Dembele ahead of the January transfer window, though Depay is now believed to be the top target.
Dembele, 23, has been in blistering form this season, scoring nine goals in 12 league games as well as finding the net three times in five Coupe de France outings.
The Frenchman is quick, strong, skilful and a fine finisher, and has become the latest player to prove that they can step up from Scottish football to play in a top five league.

Spurs actually wanted Dembele even before he starred for Celtic, with the striker even undergoing a medical with Spurs in January 2016 before Fulham cancelled a £6million move (Guardian) due to a disagreement between the two clubs.
Tottenham have lived to regret missing out on Dembele, and watching him again suggests he remains firmly on the radar – but they would have to spend much, much more than £6million to get him in now.
