Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Wolfsburg’s Josip Brekalo.

According to Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in snapping up Wolfsburg winger Josip Brekalo – a player compared to Arjen Robben.
Spurs couldn’t bring in any summer signings and will surely be pursuing 2019 additions in order to bolster Mauricio Pochettino’s squad for the second half of the season and beyond.
A host of players will be on the Spurs radar, and a number of wingers have been linked, even with Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min already at the club.
Now, Calciomercato report that Tottenham are now interested in snapping up Wolfsburg wide man Brekalo, who featured for Croatia against England on Sunday.
The 20-year-old was brought on as a half-time substitute for Ante Rebic, and Spurs may well have been interested to see how he fared against the England defence.
Brekalo moved to Wolfsburg from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016, and after spending a year on loan with Stuttgart, he returned to Wolfsburg earlier this year.

The pacey winger has one goal and one assist in 11 Bundesliga appearances this season, and that may well have been enough for Spurs to put him on their radar ahead of a possible bid.
One thing that should excite Spurs fans is that the official UEFA website compared Brekalo to Dutch legend Robben in 2016, and whilst his record isn’t exactly impressive, Spurs would no doubt love their own Robben.
