Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sell Cameron Carter-Vickers today, Football London report.

Carter-Vickers has been sent out on a series of loan spells by Tottenham in recent seasons and has generally impressed in the Championship, with his form even leading to praise from Jan Vertonghen.

“He’s still young but he’s an absolute beast,” the Belgian said to ESPN about him. “He’s a real defender. He’s strong one-on-one, in the air, he’s not afraid and he can play from the back.”

However, Jose Mourinho seemingly sees no route into Spurs’s first-team for the American international and is willing to let him go.

Bournemouth are the club who have shown the most interest in the Spurs youngster, but they have been unable to agree a deal so far.

As a result, Carter-Vickers goes into the final day of the domestic transfer window with his future in doubt.

Tottenham are eager to offload him, but they have not received an acceptable offer from any of the interested parties of yet.

If Carter-Vickers does have to stick around at Spurs that could be a blow to the player.

The 22-year-old has got used to playing regularly out on loan in recent seasons, but it seems highly unlikely that he will play at all, if he does stay at Tottenham.
