According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur lead the race to sign Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson this summer.
It’s stated that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ‘ready’ to make a swift bid for Wilson, should the Cherries suffer relegation today.
Wilson may leave Bournemouth for a knock-down price if they do go down, with Spurs keen on a deal worth around £10million.
The striker allegedly earns a whopping £110,000-a-week at Bournemouth, and they will be desperate to get his wages off the books if they go down.
That could play into Tottenham’s hands as they look to land a cut-price deal, though there is little chance of them matching those exorbitant wages.
The 28-year-old has only managed eight league goals in 34 games this season, and he now looks to be fading out of the England international picture.

Joining Spurs would see him work behind Harry Kane, but keep him in the Premier League whilst still having opportunities to impress under Jose Mourinho.
Just days ago, The Express reported that Newcastle United are hoping to sign Wilson, with Steve Bruce having watched him on a number of occasions this season.
Wilson seemingly won’t be short of interest if Bournemouth drop into the Championship, and it could be a real battle between Newcastle and Spurs to land his signature.
