Now, according to 90 Min, the North Londoners have turned their attentions toward Paulinho of Braga.
The report claims that the Lilywhites have identified the 27-year-old Portuguese hitman as a ‘potential solution’ to their striking problem.
Paulinho scored 25 goals in all competitions for Braga last season – one more than Kane managed – and it’ll be interesting to see whether this has any substance at all.
During transfer windows, a lot of what’s reported turns out to be false, but it must be said that Paulinho fits the profile of players Daniel Levy has been chasing this summer.
He, like Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Matt Doherty, is in the prime of his career and time will tell whether he’s a legitimate target.
