According to Sky Sports, a young backup goalkeeper is a priority for Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
It’s claimed that a right back, defensive midfielder and striker are on Jose Mourinho’s wish list, which isn’t a huge surprise.
However, Spurs are also eyeing up a new goalkeeper too, with one for the future seemingly wanted.
Tottenham have just allowed Michel Vorm to leave the club at the end of his contract, meaning Hugo Lloris and Paulo Gazzaniga are the two first-team goalkeepers at Mourinho’s disposal.
Some had wondered whether Brandon Austin would step up, whilst Alfie Whiteman, Joshua Oluwayemi and Isak Solberg are also in the ranks.
No targets are named, but it seems that Spurs have other ideas as they seek to bring in another new goalkeeper this summer.

A homegrown player would make sense, but finding a young English player to settle for a backup role may be difficult.
Reports from the Daily Mail last week suggested that Bournemouth’s Aaron Ramsdale is a target, and he fits the bill as a young, homegrown stopper.
Yet unless Gazzaniga is moving on, it’s hard to see such a talented stopper accept being third-choice.
