According to La Stampa (via Tutto Mercato Web), Tottenham are interested in signing Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
The Italian news outlet states that the 27-year-old could move to the Premier League, with Spurs ‘above all’ keen to sign him.
Additionally, the report mentions that Tottenham see Belotti as an ideal striker for the Premier League.
If Jose Mourinho can get his hands on the 31-cap Italy international, then it has the potential to be a wonderful signing for the north Londoners.
Belotti has been on fire this season, scoring ten goals in 19 Serie A appearances while also registering six assists.

So – for those of you wondering – what type of player is the Calcinate-born marksman?
Well, Sky Sports once published a feature on Belotti, where an interesting point was made.
Towards the end of the piece, Sky Sports described the Torino No.9 as having ‘echoes of Jamie Vardy’ – a comparison that should interest Tottenham fans.

The Leicester forward has scored a remarkable 114 Premier League goals in 229 appearances for the Foxes, while also assisting 34 more.
So far this season, he has 13 goals and five assists in 20 appearances.
In that respect, if Belotti is anything like Vardy, then Tottenham would be getting their hands on a seriously deadly finisher.
