Tottenham Hotspur have not given up on the transfer market yet.

Tottenham Hotspur are still holding out hope of securing an incoming transfer before the deadline.
The Telegraph report Spurs are plotting to sign one player, with a midfielder a priority.
The report states it is less likely that Tottenham sign a striker.
Spurs are currently having to make do without star forward Harry Kane, who is now the club’s fourth all-time leading scorer.
Kane is due back from injury in March, The Mirror report, making it tough to sign a top striker who will only play a prominent role for a month.

A midfielder is considered more pressing because Spurs sold Mousa Dembele earlier this January to Chinese side Guangzhou R&F.
Tottenham have not signed a player since last January’s late addition of Lucas Moura.
Bringing a new addition in now will give the squad a boost and lift morale heading into the second half of the season.
