Kyle Walker joined Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

Walker, 27, moved to Pep Guardiola’s side last summer for a fee believed to be in the region of £50million, in a move that has paid dividends as he has held aloft the Premier League trophy, while Spurs remain in fourth place.

The former Sheffield United defender was a mainstay of Guardiola’s side throughout the season in the Premier League and the Champions League, making the right-back slot his own.
But as agreed last summer by chairman Daniel Levy, it is believed Spurs will now receive a seven-figure fee for Walker after City were confirmed as champions. The clauses do not stop there for City, though.

Liverpool will net £1million as Raheem Sterling picked up a winners’ medal, after an excellent season in which the England international has scored 22 goals in all competitions this term. Schalke will also gain £860,000 for Leroy Sane.
Walker is now set to battle Kieran Trippier for a place in England’s starting line-up this summer as Gareth Southgate makes a decision between his two options for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
