Spurs are reportedly battling Barcelona for PSV star Lozano.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claim Tottenham Hotspur will launch a £42.6million move to sign PSV Eindhoven attacker Hirving Lozano – if Barcelona do not bid.
Spurs have long been linked with the Mexico international, and were said to be interested as recently as the summer window. However, with the new stadium costing Spurs £637million (Independent), they did not sign any new players.
With the new home almost complete, it seems as though Mauricio Pochettino’s side could re-enter the market and Mexico international Lozano could be at the top of their shortlist.
The 23-year-old has been in sensational form this season, scoring 13 goals in 23 league and cup outings as well as adding another six in assists from the wing. He even scored against Spurs in the Champions League during the 2-2 draw.

Since joining PSV, Lozano has scored 32 goals in 57 games from out wide creating another 17 assists. His incredible form has seen him become one of the most-wanted players on the planet.
The report claims Spurs will offer the eight-figure sum if Barcelona do not. The likes of Lucas Moura, Erik Lamela, Son Heung-min and Christian Eriksen currently occupy the places out wide, but Lozano would certainly push for a place in the starting XI if signed.
