Spurs could be about to complete a shock deal.
Max Meyer
Spurs will make a £38 million deadline day bid for FC Schalke star Max Meyer, according to Bild.
The 20-year old is one of the most promising young talents in European football and would be a major coup for Tottenham.
Max Meyer
Bild’s report claims that Meyer will be offered a deal worth around £6.8 million a year plus bonuses at White Hart Lane.
It also suggests that Schalke’s signing of Yevhen Konoplyanka yesterday could pave the way for Meyer’s exit, despite the fact that they have already sold another of their prized assets, in Leroy Sane, to Manchester City this summer.
Tottenham’s Nabil Bentaleb
Spurs allowed Nabil Bentaleb to join the Bundesliga side on loan last week so the lines of communication are open, but getting a deal done before tonight’s deadline will be an achievement.
Spurs are set for a busy day of activity, with Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Pau Lopez due to finally be announced and further signings beyond those two a distinct possibility.
Isco
The Lilywhites have been heavily linked with Isco and Moussa Sissoko, and following the progress of how Mauricio Pochettino’s squad shapes up come 11pm will be an intriguing watch.
