According to Football London, Tottenham will hold talks with Dele Alli over his future next month if his current situation under Jose Mourinho doesn’t change.

Football London‘s Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold makes it clear that some at Spurs believe the midfielder is just suffering from a dip in his career.

The former MK Dons wonderkid was not one of the five substitutes to come off the bench against Royal Antwerp on Thursday – he headed straight down the tunnel after realising he would not get any action.

Alli has not started a Premier League game since the opening day defeat to Everton.

Furthermore, the 24-year-old hasn’t even been included in a Premier League matchday squad by Mourinho since the 6-1 win over Manchester United on October 4th.

The BBC recently revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are planning to make an attempt to sign Alli on loan in January.

The BBC‘s report states that Thomas Tuchel’s side wanted the £100,000-a-week man in the summer, but Daniel Levy refused to agree to a deal.

As a result of that, it feels unlikely that his situation in north London will change within the space of a month – in our opinion.

It would be a real shame to see the goalscoring maestro depart.

Alli has tonnes of talent, and looked likely to become a genuine superstar when he first burst onto the scene.

Even Gary Lineker felt the same back in 2017, tipping the Englishman to score ‘bundles of goals’ during his career while also describing him as an ‘exemplary’ player.
