Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax are reportedly keen on signing the Porto centre-back.

According to a report from Portuguese outlet Record, Tottenham are set to battle it out with Ajax for the signature of Porto ace Diogo Queirós this summer.
The 20-year-old centre-back is highly regarded in Portugal, and he has a €25 million (£21.5 million) release clause inserted into his current contract, according to Record.
The Portuguese outlet claims that both Spurs and Ajax are only wiling to pay around €15 million (£12.9 million) for his services, however.
Tottenham are in need of another centre-back, with Jan Vertonghen on the wring side of 32, and Toby Alderweireld facing an uncertain future in north London.
Queirós is a real talent, but he would be a signing more for the future for Spurs.

He is still yet to play for Porto’s senior side, although he has played 45 games for their ‘B’ team.
The Record claims that Porto will consider all offers for the youngster this summer, and if Tottenham do manage to sign him for somewhere in the region of the reported fee of £12.9 million, it could turn out to be a real coup for the north London outfit.
