Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly offering Moussa Sissoko to other clubs.
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur will be offering midfielder Moussa Sissoko out to clubs as they attempt to sell the Frenchman.
Spurs face a big summer as they move into their new stadium, with fans expecting a number of big signings – especially with Mauricio Pochettino’s men qualifying for the Champions League yet again.
Some players may be heading out of the club though, and whilst speculation surrounds the futures of Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele, another player appears primed for the exit.
The Daily Mail report that Tottenham want to sell midfielder Moussa Sissoko, and will actively offer him out to other clubs in attempt to offload him.
Sissoko, 28, joined Spurs from Newcastle United in a £30million deal back in 2016 (BBC Sport), and was seen as a major gamble for Tottenham given his poor form for Newcastle before impressing for France at Euro 2016.
Unsurprisingly, the midfielder hasn’t impressed under Pochettino and has been a bit-part figure for Spurs, notching just two goals and four assists in almost two years in North London.
Now, with Spurs seeking reinforcements, it’s no great surprise that Pochettino is looking to cash in on Sissoko and fund other deals, with other clubs now being contacted about taking the former Toulouse man off Tottenham’s hands.
