Anderlecht’s Paul Mukairu is far from a household name – but he now finds himself at the centre of a tug-of-war.
The Nigerian winger is on loan from Antalyaspor this season, and has been impressing in Belgium with four goals and four assists in 24 games.
Anderlecht can sign Mukairu permanently this summer, but they may end up selling him on immediately with interest mounting.
The Mirror reported last month that Tottenham think they will be signing the 21-year-old for just £4million this summer.
Spurs have seemingly laid some groundwork for a summer move based on those claims, but they may now miss out.
Calciomercato claim that AC Milan are now looking to sign Mukairu, with Bayer Leverkusen, Roma and PSV Eindhoven also in the race.

It’s clear that the wide man is in demand ahead of the summer window, and Spurs must now be concerned that they will end up missing out on a potential bargain.
Mukairu could end up being Gareth Bale’s replacement at Spurs, but with more and more clubs joining the race, Tottenham may need to ramp up their efforts to get a deal done.
