Tottenham Hotspur may want Luis Enrique but it sounds like he is really impressing Chelsea during talks with the Blues.
We now have a situation where both Spurs and Chelsea are seeking to bring in new managers.
Antonio Conte parted ways with Tottenham during the international break whilst Chelsea sacked Graham Potter on Sunday.
It may well be that Chelsea and Spurs end up targeting the same managers – such as Enrique.
The Independent now report that Spanish coach Enrique is heading to London for more talks with Chelsea.
Enrique is understood to have impressed the Chelsea hierarchy during initial talks and more negotiations are coming.
There is thought to be confidence around Enrique that he can secure the Chelsea job, even if the Blues aren’t close to a decision.
Julian Nagelsmann was thought to be the frontrunner but Enrique appears to be a major contender too.

Luis Enrique to Tottenham seems tricky
Tottenham have also been very interested in Enrique.
Claims from The Athletic in March suggested that Enrique was actually the frontrunner for the Spurs job.
TalkSPORT added last week that Enrique would be on Tottenham’s shortlist after sacking Conte.
The problem here is that Fabio Paratici was though to be key to the Enrique interest.
Paratici has been a firm admirer of Enrique for a while now and wanted to bring him to Tottenham.
Paratici isn’t actually serving his duties as Tottenham’s director of football right now though having been hit with a worldwide ban.
Until that situation is resolved, it’s unlikely that Tottenham will be going ahead and speaking to a Paratici target.
That has allowed Chelsea to swoop in and hold talks with Enrique as they consider appointing the Spaniard.
This would be Enrique’s first domestic job since leaving Barcelona in 2017, which brings along its own risks.
Enrique managed Spain at the World Cup in Qatar but has been out of work since La Roja’s exit.
Now wanted n the Premier League, Enrique could soon call London home – but with Chelsea rather than Spurs.
