According to L’Equipe and Le10 Sport, Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is open to leaving the club this summer amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur – but Everton remain interested.
It’s claimed that Zouma wants to experience something different, and is now considering moving on this summer if offers come in for his signature.
The report again claims that Jose Mourinho wants to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur. Zouma allegedly appreciates the way Mourinho works, suggesting he would be interested in a move.
Everton are allegedly keeping tabs on his situation too. The Frenchman was on loan at Everton last season, and they attempted to sign him permanently but missed out.
Zouma has made 22 Premier League appearances this season, featuring regularly for Frank Lampard’s side. Yet with Antonio Rudiger, Fikayo Tomori and Andreas Christensen also in the mix, Zouma may not be guaranteed first-team football.
The 25-year-old was signed by Mourinho at Tottenham, so a reunion does make sense. Spurs are in the market for a new defender, with Jan Vertonghen set to leave.

However, Chelsea selling Zouma to Spurs seems unlikely. The relationship between the two clubs isn’t exactly ideal given their rivalry, and they’re also rivals in the race for European football.
Tottenham also don’t have a huge stack of money to throw at the Blues even if Zouma does want a move, so there are many hurdles to clear for Spurs if they want to sign the Frenchman.
