Tottenham Hotspur are discussing offering Hugo Lloris a new contract in the hope of keeping him at the club, Football London report.
Lloris’ future at Tottenham has been heavily speculated about heading into the summer transfer window.
However, the latest update suggests that the Frenchman is set to stay.
Lloris has proven shaky at times in Tottenham’s goal this season, and the likes of Nick Pope and Dean Henderson have both been linked as replacements.
But Football London say that the English pair are likely to be too expensive for Spurs.
Lloris is now expected to stay at Tottenham beyond the end of the season, and the club may even offer him a new deal to keep him for longer.

Lloris has already been at Tottenham for eight years, so an extension of his stay would start to make him one of the longest serving players of the North London club in modern history.
Lloris, who was hailed as ‘world-class’ by Sky pundit Rob Green this season (Stadium Astro), still plays an important role at Spurs despite his advancing years as club captain.
His influence off the field is undoubted, but whether offering him a long extension would be the correct decision is very much up for debate.
While the goalkeeper, who Mauricio Pochettino called ‘brilliant’ (FotMob), does have a great deal of experience and remains a quality shot-stopper, he has also proven error prone this season.
Tottenham’s defence has been shaky as a result, and if Spurs really are to tighten up at the back next term, a more stable goalkeeper surely would have been a shrewd investment.
