Victor Osimhen’s agent has now held a meeting with Liverpool’s chief scout, but Tottenham Hotspur remain interested in signing him.
Radio Kiss Kiss in Italy claim that Napoli are leading the race to sign the Lille striker, but Tottenham and Liverpool are still in the hunt, according to the latest update, which was reported on by Area Napoli.
Napoli are thought to have made an agreement over a fee with Osimhen, but his new agent William D’Avila wants to get him to Anfield.
D’Avila is said to have a strong relationship with Liverpool’s CEO Peter Moore, with discussions being held.
Tottenham retaining interest in Osimhen is also interesting, as the striker could be an appealing option for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Tottenham are thought to be looking at signing some cover for Harry Kane, as they are currently short of options beyond their star striker.
However, with Napoli already agreeing a fee of £45 million for the striker (Alfredo Pedulla), both Liverpool and Tottenham could struggle to reach that asking price, considering their seemingly limited budgets.
