Tottenham Hotspur reportedly haven’t forgotten about last summer’s target Hirving Lozano.

According to CalcioNapoli24, Tottenham Hotspur are among the teams ‘still lurking’ in regards to signing Hirving Lozano.
The Mexico international lit up last summer’s World Cup in Russia and swiftly found himself being linked to Spurs [Team Talk].
But the trail went cold and Lozano wound up staying with PSV Eindhoven, where he netted 21 times across all competitions last term.
Tottenham will need a couple of new strikers this summer after releasing Fernando Llorente, with Vincent Janssen also expected to leave North London.
And according to CalcioNapoli24 in Italy, Spurs haven’t forgotten about the 23-year-old striker.
But the report adds that Manchester United and Barcelona remain interested in the Mexican and that ‘it will be a full brawl’ for his signature.
Janssen a cautionary tale?
This looks like it would be a good signing for Tottenham, but appearances can be deceptive.
After all, he is nowhere near as prolific in the Netherlands as Janssen, who scored 27 times during his last season in the Eredivisie – 10 more than Lozano last time around – and yet the Dutchman has flopped big time at Spurs.
That doesn’t mean that Lozano wouldn’t be very good in the Premier League, but if nothing else it is food for thought – and lots of it.
