Tottenham Hotspur are still confident of landing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton, despite a last minute twist over the sale of Kyle Walker-Peters, according to the London Evening Standard.
Southampton looked set to sign Walker-Peters from Tottenham, with Hojbjerg heading the other way.
However, Fulham’s interest in the Tottenham right-back now complicates matters.
Scott Parker’s side are expected to launch a bid for Walker-Peters in the near future, which could mean that the Spurs prospect heads to Craven Cottage rather than St. Mary’s.
If that does happen Tottenham remain confident that they will still be able to land Hojbjerg though.

The two transfer deals have been kept separate in case this sort of circumstance emerged, and it seems that the Dane will be a Spurs player, despite the last minute twist in the Walker-Peters deal.
Hojbjerg’s arrival at Tottenham is set to increase Jose Mourinho’s options in midfield next campaign.
It is expected that Hojbjerg will come straight into Tottenham’s starting line-up, where he will be expected to offer their defence more protection.
