Tottenham Hotspur starlet Filip Lesniak is out of contract this summer, but Spurs are yet to make their mind up on the youngster.
Tottenham are still to make a decision on Filip Lesniak’s future
According to Sky Sports’ live transfer feed (May 24th, 9:41am), Filip Lesniak is attracting the attention of several Championship clubs as his future with Tottenham remains up in the air.
The 21-year-old is out of contract this summer, and Sky Sports’ live transfer feed reports that Spurs are yet to make a decision on his future, using their post-season trip to Hong Kong to help them decide once and for all.
Lesniak recently made his Spurs debut but is out of contract this summer
If Lesniak does end up leaving Tottenham this summer, it appears that he will not have a shortage of offers to pick from with Sky Sports suggesting that a number of sides in the second tier are interested, while he also has admirers from Slovakia, Czech Republic, Greece and Russia, who are all ready to pounce if he is allowed to leave Spurs in the coming months.
Lesniak appears to be one of the youngsters that Mauricio Pochettino has some level of expectation for, having handed him his Premier League debut in the dying minutes of their emphatic victory over Leicester City earlier this month.
Tottenham are set to make a decision on the midfielder’s future after their trip to Hong Kong
Despite only playing the final few minutes, it was the holding midfielder who contributed the assist for Harry Kane’s second and Tottenham’s fifth in a game they would win 6-1.
And he will be hoping to get the opportunity to make a major impression in Hong Kong to give him the best chance to prove himself further to the Spurs hierarchy, as, even if a new deal at Tottenham does not materialise, a decent showing may boost his chances of securing a good move elsewhere.
Filip Lesniak will seemingly have no problem finding another club if he does leave Tottenham
