Tottenham Hotspur and Harry Kane want to open talks over a new contract amid interest from Bayern Munich, according to 90min.
Tottenham and Kane stance on contract talks amid Bayern Munich interest
90min have reported that Tottenham and Kane are not rushing to finalise a new contract.
However, the club and the player ‘do have a mutual interest in opening talks’, according to the report.
Kane is out of contract at Tottenham in the summer of 2024.
German giants Bayern have been strongly linked with the England international striker in recent days.
Bayern Munich head coach Julian Nagelsmann said this week that he would love to sign Tottenham striker Kane, as relayed by journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

Earlier this month, Kicker reported that the Bundesliga champions have identified the £200,000-a-week striker (SalarySport) as a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who has left for Barcelona.
No need to rush
In our view, there is no need for Tottenham Hotspur and Harry Kane to rush into talks over a new contract despite interest from Bayern Munich.
As well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has noted on Twitter, Tottenham will not sell Kane this summer.
So, in our view, there is no need for Spurs to open talks with Kane over a new deal straightaway.
Tottenham and Kane should take time to discuss a new contract.
