The Tottenham Hotspur defender is tipped for a bright future at White Hart Lane.
According to a report from ESPN, Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers reminds the club’s hierarchy of Spurs legend Ledley King for three main reasons.
The young American has long been tipped to follow a similar route to the Tottenham first-team, but now it is being claimed that club sources have identified the key reasons why Carter-Vickers could be the heir apparent to King.

According to ESPN, they have been told by club sources that the 18-year-old genuinely reminds them of King because of his strength, ability on the ball and, perhaps most importantly, his temperament.
The report goes on to claim that Carter-Vickers is softly spoken off the pitch but will fight for every ball and every point when he steps over the white line, and that is exactly what Tottenham fans want from a player.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has already gone on record to praise the player and it will be interesting to see how long it is before he gets regular game-time at a club that knows a thing or two about top quality centre-backs.
