Italian outlet Inter Live claim Tottenham Hotspur are willing to offer long-term target Alessandro Bastoni a deal worth £119k a week – but the report says Manchester United are ready to trump Spurs and give Bastoni £135k a week.
Bastoni, 23, has become a mainstay of this Inter Milan side since Spurs boss Antonio Conte brought him into the team during his reign. He has since clocked up 146 senior outings for Inter, and become a regular in the Italy national side.
The left-footed central defender has long been linked with a move to Spurs. Doubts regarding his future are growing, with his contract ending in 2024. This summer, interested parties will make their move – if he does not sign a new deal.
The report states that he currently earns £68,000 a week. Inter have offered a deal worth £77,000. To stay at Inter, the defender is said to want £102,000. It is claimed Spurs are ready to tempt with £119,000, and United, with £135,000.

Tottenham willing to offer Bastoni £119k but United ready to trump Spurs
A big decision for Bastoni to make. Inter are not a side that look as though they will be winning Serie A, anytime soon. That is despite sitting in second – but some way of runaway leaders Napoli. Inter are expected to have a big reshuffle.
The club are strapped for cash and do need to sell. Bastoni is expected to cost north of £50million, even with his time at Inter starting to dwindle. A move away from the Nerrazzuri is needed – but where does the Italy star go next?
Spurs would be perfect for him. They are in desperate need of a left-sided centre-back. But, two conditions. One, only if Conte remains which is looking increasingly unlikely. The second is, whether they qualify for the Champions League.
