Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on signing the Inter Milan ace.

According to a report from Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Tottenham are plotting a summer swoop for Inter Milan midfielder Roberto Gagliardini, but they could face competition from Atletico Madrid for the Italian’s signature.
The 24-year-old originally joined Inter on loan from Atalanta in January 2017, and made his switch a permanent one this summer.
The Serie A outfit are reportedly ready to ship him on, though, in order to turn over a quick profit.
Tutto Mercato Web claims that Gagliardini is being eyed by Atleti and Tottenham, with both clubs keen to add more steel to their midfield ranks.
The Italian media outlet goes on to report that Valencia are also interested in the midfielder.
The 24-year-old Italian is far from an elite performer, but he obviously has something about him, if Diego Simeone and Mauricio Pochettino are keen on signing him.

According to Transfer Markt, Gagliardini is valued at just £18 million, and in today’s market, that would represent excellent value for money for Spurs, despite the fact that the Italian is a totally unproven commodity in the Premier League.
With Mousa Dembele facing an uncertain future at White Hart Lane, though, midfield will certainly be an area where Poch wants to strengthen, and if Tottenham manage to beat Atleti to the Inter ace’s signature, it could turn out to be a real coup for the north London outfit.
