According to the Daily Mail, Spartak Moscow are closing in on Chelsea’s Victor Moses having missed out on Serge Aurier.
It’s claimed that Moses will complete a loan move to Russia imminently, with a view to turning the move permanent for around £8million.
A return to Inter Milan fell through, meaning Moses will now head to Russia in search of first-team football away from Stamford Bridge.
This will be Moses’ sixth loan spell away from Chelsea, and he is unlikely to ever play for the Blues again given Frank Lampard’s options.
The report adds that Tottenham initially made a move for Tottenham’s Aurier, but ended up having to look elsewhere having failed to strike a deal.
Moses comes much cheaper than Aurier, and the news of the Nigerian’s imminent move will allow Spurs to rest easy on Aurier’s future.

The Ivorian has been linked away from Tottenham for months now, especially when Matt Doherty was brought in from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, Aurier started against Manchester United and scored in a superb display, meaning he may well have a chance to shine again under Jose Mourinho.
The Russian and Portuguese markets are still open, but with Spartak now set to sign Moses, Aurier looks set to stay at Tottenham in a boost for Mourinho and co.
