The midfielder, just 20-years-old, was rated man-of-the-match according to the report as his team Viitorul defeated CFR Cluj 2-1 in the Romanian Liga I over the weekend.
Marin is helping lead his unfancied side to a potential title tilt this season – as they currently sit third in the Romanian top-flight and just three points behind top club Steaua Bucharest.
Spurs fans, who will be wary of Romanian signings after Vlad Chiriches, should certainly be excited about this news.
