Spurs could have landed the Bundesliga star for £8.4 million last month.
Yunus Malli
Tottenham are still interested in Yunus Malli despite his buyout clause expiring on Sunday, according to Turkish publication Fanatik.
The 24-year old was thought to have a buyout clause of £8.4 million but its validity ended after July 31st and Spurs will likely have to shell out more if they are to complete a deal.

Fanatik’s report claims that Spurs haven’t been put off by this development and with Mauricio Pochettino a big fan of the Turkish international, discussions are underway to try to reach an agreement.

It seems unlikely that Spurs would allow Malli’s buyout clause to expire before making a move but it’s possible personal terms have not yet been agreed and the club were therefore unwilling to pay the required sum.
Pochettino has added Vincent Janssen and Victor Wanyama to his squad so far this summer but spoke recently about his desire to bring in more.
Pau Lopez
Georges-Kevin NKoudou is expected to be announced once formalities are complete and Spurs have reportedly had an opening offer for Espanyol goalkeeper Pau Lopez rejected.
Braga attacker Rafa Silva is another who has been linked – by the likes of the London Evening Standard – while Malli could yet make a switch to White Hart Lane.
