Report: Tottenham regularly monitoring Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping a close eye on the exciting Bundesliga winger.

According to reports from the Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are regularly monitoring the progress of Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

The 20-year-old is one of the hottest properties in Bundesliga, and a host of Premier League clubs clubs are keeping their eyes on his development.

The Mirror claims that the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are all interested. Liverpool have cooled their interest in Thomas Lemar, and have shifted their attention towards him.

The Jamaican winger joined Leverkusen in 2017 and has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season, further laying off five for others.

The report adds that Bailey won’t come cheap with Bayer Leverkusen demanding a staggering £100 million for their jet-heeled star.

Obviously, no club would be willing to pay that amount, and surely the price will drop. Spurs have a good connection with Leverkusen, having signed Son Heung-Min from them in 2015.

Mauricio Pochettino is one of those managers who love to work with exciting young players and it won’t be a surprise if Spurs decide to move for him in the summer.
