Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make any new signings this summer but they maintain an interest in the midfielder.
According to an exclusive report from TMW, Tottenham Hotspur are refusing to give up on signing AC Milan star Suso this summer, although they could be fighting a losing battle with contract talks due following the player’s change of agent.
The report claims Tottenham are insisting on signing the 23-year-old; the problem is the former Liverpool prospect seemingly has no intention of leaving the San Siro this summer and could commit to the club with a new long-term contract if things go according to plan.

Suso currently has two years remaining on his current deal, but having changed agents last month it seems the player could be pushing for a new contract where he is rather than a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Tottenham fans are growing restless as they watch their Premier League rivals significantly strengthen while Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino struggles to bring in targets of his own.
Suso’s versatility and experience means he would be a fine addition to Tottenham’s squad, yet if he is an unattainable target they should be looking elsewhere while they have the chance.
Tottenham’s progress under Pochettino means there is no dire need to sign new faces just for the sake of it. However if they want to build on last season, and challenge both domestically and in Europe, they need more quality in key areas.
Another striker and an additional winger are vital, as is a right-back to challenge Kieran Trippier following the sale of Kyle Walker.
Suso would be a good signing to operate out wide, but Tottenham may be barking up the wrong tree.
