According to 90Min, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund defender Dan-Axel Zagadou – and still want Beijing Guoan’s Kim Min-jae.
It’s claimed that Spurs looked at Zagadou earlier this year and rate the Frenchman very highly, but fear that he won’t be available from Dortmund.
Additionally, the giant centre back suffered knee ligament damage over the summer and isn’t quite back yet, so a January move may not be on the cards.
Zagadou, 21, has spent time in the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain and hometown club Creteil, and has now made 60 appearances since a 2017 move to Dortmund.
As a naturally left-footed centre back, Zagadou could be the long-term replacement for Jan Vertonghen, but whether Spurs can actually do a deal remains to be seen.
Thee report adds that Tottenham also still want Kim following summer links, though they are putting off a move until next summer.

The South Korea star was strongly linked with Spurs over the summer, as international international teammate Son Heung-min was seemingly keen on reuniting with him.
Kim, 24, could be a budget-friendly option for Spurs if they still want a new centre back in 2021, which would bring questions over Davinson Sanchez’s future.
