Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly keen on signing the Lazio ace.

According to a report from Italian publication Il Messaggero, Tottenham are unwilling to pay €40 million (£34 million) for one of their prime summer transfer targets – Lazio stopper Thomas Strakosha.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form for Lazio this season, keeping eight clean sheets in 27 appearances in all competitions, and conceding just 29 goals.
Strakosha would add provide real competition for current Spurs number one Hugo Lloris, and he possesses all of the attributes required to one day become the club’s first choice goalkeeper.
Italian publication Il Messaggero claims that Tottenham have been put off by the Serie A side’s £34 million asking price for the 24-year-old, however.

And that comes as no surprise, considering how frugal Daniel Levy has been with the club’s money throughout the years.
Much will depend on how much longer Mauricio Pochettino believes Lloris can continue playing at the highest level, but as things stand, it seems highly unlikely that Tottenham will be signing Strakosha this summer.
