According to Portuguese outlet SABADO, Tottenham Hotspur are expected to match the €25million (£22million) release clause in Porto right back Ricardo Pereira’s contract.
Spurs have seen Kyle Walker develop and thrive under Mauricio Pochettino, becoming arguably the Premier League’s top right back – but speculation now surrounds his future with the club.

After losing his position to Kieran Trippier towards the end of the Premier League season, may now expect Walker to leave Tottenham this summer, leaving Pochettino with a real decision to make.
If Walker leaves, then he could simply promote Trippier to first choice, and make talented youngster Kyle Walker-Peters the new backup, but speculation suggests that he could yet bring in another right back.

Portuguese outlet SABADO report that Tottenham are interested in signing Porto right back Ricardo Pereira, who has spent the last two seasons on loan in France with Nice.
Pereira, 23, joined Porto from Vitoria Guimaraes in 2013, but he has played just 34 games for the club, before starring with Nice, notching two goals and four assists in 24 league appearances this past season.

The Portuguese defender, who has two caps for his country, is now back with Porto, but it’s suggested that he has impressed Tottenham enough for them to prepare to activate his €25million (£22million) release clause.
With blistering pace and great attacking threat, Pereira could be an ideal replacement for Walker this summer, and he even has experience of playing at wing back, making him potentially perfect for Pochettino’s 3-4-2-1 system.
