According to Foot Mercato, Mauricio Pochettino has told Serge Aurier he wants him to leave Tottenham and join him at Paris Saint-German.
The French news outlet claim that the Argentine and the 66-cap Ivory Coast international get on well, and are keen on a reunion in Paris.
As Foot Mercato add, Aurier has also expressed a desire to return to the Parc des Princes in previous years.
It’s also said that Daniel Levy has slapped a €12 million (£10.3 million) asking price on the right-back’s head amid interest from the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
That would represent a big loss on the £23 million Spurs paid for him in 2017.
However, Aurier’s contract does expire in June 2022, so that would explain the low valuation.

The 28-year-old hasn’t exactly been a regular starter under Jose Mourinho this season.
He’s started 14 of Tottenham’s 28 Premier League games, scoring two goals while also assisting one.
His rival for the right-back slot – Matt Doherty – has started 12 Premier League games, so it seems Mourinho doesn’t really have an outright favourite.

Foot Mercato also mention that Aurier has kept in close contact with PSG’s President Nasser Al-Khelaifi – the two men are said to speak on a regular basis.
It would be a shame to see Aurier leave for a loss on what Tottenham paid.
However, he is far from being the first name on Mourinho’s teamsheet, so perhaps an exit wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
