Bolton’s Luca Connell appears to be in demand ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a move for Bolton Wanderers talent Luca Connell this summer.
Bolton’s financial woes have been well-documented this season, and with the club entering administration, they face a turbulent transfer window.
Many players are expected to walk away from the club, and whilst a raft of players just relegated from the Championship may not garner too much interest, one player will be in demand.
Midfielder Connell has emerged as one of the few shining lights in a dismal Bolton season, showing real tenacity as a central midfielder for Phil Parkinson’s side – even if he’s only played 12 games in all competitions.
The 18-year-old is now wanted by a host of clubs, with The Sun claiming that Spurs are preparing a move for the teenager, but so are Everton, Norwich City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
With Connell out of contract this summer, there’s next to no chance of him re-signing with Bolton, and the Trotters will have to make do with a compensation fee for the promising midfielder.

Connell would be one for the future for Spurs, but Dele Alli arrived with that tag in 2015, before quickly establishing himself as a key player for Mauricio Pochettino.
As a Liverpudlian though, joining Everton may be appealing too, and Connell may come out as the only winner from Bolton’s dire season, with a Premier League move seemingly on the cards.
