According to The Times, Tottenham Hotspur need to offload four players to help cover the costs of signing Sergio Reguilon.
It’s claimed that Real Madrid left back Reguilon is on the verge of completing a £27.5million move to Tottenham, with an announcement imminent.
That’s a considerable outlay from Tottenham and their most expensive signing of the summer so far, which now needs to be covered in the budget.
This report states that Tottenham now want to sell goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga, centre back Juan Foyth and left back Danny Rose to fund Reguilon’s arrival.
Ryan Sessegnon will also go out on loan, with a loan fee and wages being covered helpful to Tottenham in terms of balancing the books.
The Daily Star claim that Rose is set for a £5million move to Genoa, whilst The Sun suggested in July that Foyth was valued at around £15million by Leeds United.

It’s unclear just how much Gazzaniga would cost, but two interested sides – Aston Villa and Fulham, according to the Daily Mail – have now signed other goalkeepers in Emiliano Martinez and Alphonse Areola respectively.
It may now be tricky to offload Gazzaniga, and he surely won’t bring in more than around £8million to £10million.
Add in Sessegnon’s loan, and Tottenham may well be able to fund the Reguilon deal by offloading these four players – but it’s now all about finalising their exits in the final weeks of the transfer window.
