Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are competing with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Frank Lampard’s Everton for Lille forward Jonathan David, according to GiveMeSport.
Tottenham competing with Arsenal for Jonathan David
The report has claimed that Tottenham, Everton and Arsenal all are considering signing David from Lille in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old, who earns £36,000 per week as salary (SalarySport) at his club Lille, will play for Canada at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
The Chronicle have reported interest in the youngster from Arsenal as well as Newcastle United.

Could a transfer happen in January?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal are unlikely to be able to sign Jonathan David from Lille in the January transfer window.
Yes, we know that money talks, but French club Lille will surely not want to lose one of the best players in the middle of the season.
Lille are aiming to finish in the UEFA Champions League places in the Ligue 1 table this season.
Moreover, David is under contract at Lille until the summer of 2025, so the Ligue 1 club will not be forced to sell him in the middle of the season.
In our opinion, a 2023 summer move is more likely.
David has scored nine goals and provided three assists in 14 Ligue 1 appearances for Lille so far this season.
