Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with Inter Milan’s Matias Vecino.

According to Calciomercato, Tottenham Hotspur are the only club really interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino – but have been put off by the asking price.
Spurs have failed to bring in any new signings in the last two transfer windows, meaning Lucas Moura remains their last addition. in January 2018.
Mauricio Pochettino’s squad clearly needs some freshening up this summer, and a new midfielder may well be needed after Mousa Dembele’s move to China.
One name regularly linked is Inter’s Vecino, and Calciomercato claim that Tottenham are the only club majorly interested in signing him.
However, it’s believed that Inter want around €25million to €30million (£21.3million to £25.5million) for Vecino, and that asking price has scared Tottenham off.
At almost 28, Vecino doesn’t exactly fit Tottenham’s usual policy in the transfer market, and he doesn’t really possess similar attributes to Dembele either.

Technically sound and composed in possession, the Uruguayan international has starred in Italy with Fiorentina and Inter, whilst he even scored against Tottenham in the Champions League earlier this season.
Given that a player with real dynamism is needed in Dembele’s place, Vecino would be a surprise signing – and it seems that Spurs are backing away at the required price anyway.
